Aims and Scope

Journal of Economic Cooperation and Development (JECD) (ISSN 1308-7800, e-ISSN 2980-1125), formerly titled the Journal of Economic Cooperation among Islamic Countries (ISSN 0252-953X), publishes applied research in development economics. The Journal welcomes original scholarly contributions addressing key economic and social challenges facing developing countries, with particular emphasis on studies exploring the potential for strengthening and expanding economic and technical cooperation among developing nations.

Journal of Economic Cooperation and Development is published quarterly in English, in March, June, September, and December, and is indexed and abstracted in Scopus, JEL/EconLit, i-Journals, i-Focus, and i-Future.

The publication is produced and issued by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC).
